How to get to Jerez and Cadiz by train
The train is an excellent option to get to the main cities from the airport of Jerez. You can reach Cadiz in 75 minutes, and Jerez in just 9 minutes. You can even reach Seville from the airport of Jerez, after a 1-hour train journey.
Moving around by train is the fastest option, too. You will have at your disposal the C-1 Cercanías line (Cádiz- Aeropuerto de Jerez) and the half-distance train Sevilla-Cádiz, which stops at the airport eight times a day.
If you choose the first option, keep in mind that the prices vary depending on the area you will cross. The airport stop is located in the area n. 5. From the airport, the train leaves at 7.20 am (at 8.20 during weekends and festive days), 1.25 pm and 7.20 pm.
How to get to Jerez and Cadiz by bus
Several intercity buses connect the airport of Jerez with the nearby cities, (Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa María, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Chipiona and the area of Costa Ballena, in Rota). The bus lines to get to Jerez are M-050, M-051, M-052, M-053, M-0561, M-970 and M-971, whose trip is almost 30-minute long.
To get to Cadiz, you can take the M-050, M-051, M-052 or the M-053 bus line, whose trip is 75-minute long. Price-wise, they might vary depending on the area, but to travel by bus is usually the most economical option, especially if you go alone.
How to get to Jerez and Cadiz by taxi
The taxi stop is located right outside the airport. However, going from the airport of Jerez to the city of Jerez de la Frontera or to Cadiz is less recommended than the other options, being more expensive.
