Beautiful house - great for a family with kids. Very good contact from the owner, who was very friendly! You definitely need a car as it’s tricky to walk to places (at least with small children).

Very nice view, a small house that must be pleasant in summer with a beautiful exterior, otherwise the house is very humid, you have to leave the windows partially open, no side table to eat inside, when you go to the toilet you stand with your feet in the shower tray, no storage space, the path is quite chaotic, but it is true that to have a nice view in Andalusia the paths are always like this, you don't have a sports car. Friendly owners.

The accommodation is a real dream: beautiful, well maintained and equipped with everything you could wish for. The house is idyllically located in the middle of nature and yet within walking distance of the beach and shops, which can be easily reached via a paved road. The hosts, Santiago and Maria, are extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to seeing you again!

I visited with some friends for a weekend, we had a great time! The home owner was super responsive, friendly and all round great person! The home itsself is stunning, spacious and well put together. You have everything you need on site, amenities are in tip top condition and it's a great place to get away and enjoy the Andalucian countryside! Highly recommended!

Beautiful place on the mountain with a view over Torrox and the sea. Had a wonderful week in early November, beautiful new house with several places to sit. Beautiful pool, which is of course quite cold in November but that did not stop us from swimming. Friendly owner where we could ask everything (with google translate) There was a bowl of fresh fruit and champagne ready on arrival. Definitely recommended.

We LOVED the house! Amazing place, with all comforts necessary. Beautiful and calm. A proper spanish summer house! Just what we were looking for. The kids loved the pool, we loved the quiet surroundings. The fruit trees in the back yard was a great treat. We got lovely, sun-warm oranges (early november). Plenty of space to live and entertain our family of five. The road to the house was a bit small, not for the nervous driver.

Very nice place. Top class accommodation and facilities! The climate remains mild in early November. The only negative point is the somewhat difficult access to the villa.

Ruralidays helped us well when we had questions, we spoke to the owner daily and he is a very friendly man, the fruit from the garden is delicious and organic, the accommodation is beautifully situated and has all the basic facilities you expect!

An amazing villa, with mind blowing views across the valley to Antequera. We were 4 couples on a walking holiday and each of us had a nice room with en-suite facilities. The villa is brand new and beautifully fitted out with modern decor. The large kitchen and living space was great for communal cooking. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The house is very clean and well maintained. The landlord was waiting for us at the agreed time at the villa and gave us an extensive tour of the house. Was also always available during our stay. Lovely garden with outdoor kitchen. The heated pool was wonderful! Even outside the high season it is nice to stay in this house. Highly recommended!

The children had a great time in the pool and whirlpool. The house was very nice and nicely decorated. The landlord (lives next door) was very nice and always helpful. The drive to the house is a bit adventurous at first and difficult to find. Very good location for excursions. Supermarkets can be reached by car in just a few minutes. The toilet opposite the bed takes some getting used to and the large bedroom is therefore more suitable for a single person, unless you want to see your neighbor using the toilet. From this bedroom you can reach the second terrace and the laundry room, so you inevitably have to go through someone's room and bathroom. All in all, a very nice holiday in a beautiful, rustic house

Very nice house, many amenities. Winding road to reach the house but given the peace it is worth spending cozy evenings on the terrace.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 weeks in the lovely house in a beautiful location. Via a beautiful walk through a gorge/riverbed you can reach Frigiliana or Nerja and by car you are quickly in Nerja or on one of the beaches via a mountain road that did not bore us for a moment. Lola is an incredibly sweet and helpful woman who is really there for you if necessary.

Magnificent house with a superb view of the city and the sea. We appreciated this fully equipped house with a magnificent garden very well maintained by its owner José A big thank you to José for his availability, his attentions and his kindness.

The place was FANTASTIC. Lots of space, especially outside. Everywhere you could sit. Shade, sun, sheltered or not. The pool is lovely and clean. Inside the living room/kitchen is a bit smaller but the outside space more than compensates for that. There is a covered outdoor kitchen! The village is a 10 minute walk away with a lovely restaurant that is unfortunately not open every day, so plan when you visit. Ronda is a half hour drive away for groceries Santiago is super friendly and has good tips for trips The place will also be great if you are staying with children! We had a few days with lower temperatures but we were able to light the fireplace with wood that was ready for us!

It is a beautiful house, with incredible views, very well equipped and with many common areas. Very good location for hiking trails.

A great holiday villa. Very peaceful. Lovely walks straight from the villa and the village of Arenas. The pool and dining area outside were great but also a nice big table inside for chilly evenings later in the season. Easily enough space for a family holiday. Lovely.

This property has masses of character and charm and the hilltop location has stunning views. Despite its exposed location, the hermitage was warm and cosy and the owner has gone to great lengths to ensure that guests have everything they need to be comfortable. The plumbing was a little fragile, but Jose was quick to address the issue we had. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

It is a beautiful house, very spacious, beautiful views, very comfortable terrace with the barbecue next to it so we don't have to do many walks, we used the jacuzzi but not the pool because of the date and it is. very good. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Negative points, although the house looked clean, we found a dirty coffee cup on the furniture and they had not cleaned under the beds and sofas. On the other hand, I would not recommend going at night, because the last stretch to get to the house is a rural road, so there are steep slopes, tight turns and it is narrow, but you can get there. Improving the cleanliness, I would return to this accommodation.

The house is in a perfect location for eploring Ronda and absorbing the beauty and history of this amazing town and region.

Very nice holiday accommodation! Less than 30 minutes from beaches and small towns where you can do your shopping. El Borge, a beautiful little "pueblo blanco" accessible on foot. Small swimming pool, enough to cool off and have a good time. On the other hand, in addition to the double bed, the bedding is painful! The dishes and appliances were dirty. The access road is long but without major difficulties provided you do not have a vehicle that is too low.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

These were nice days, nice and quiet and relaxing. One disadvantage too many barking dogs.

It may be hot in summer, but we spent the All Saints' Day weekend there and it was great. Apart from that, the weather was nice and we were able to go for a walk around the town and the mountains. Maybe I would put a full kitchen in one of the spaces. But for the rest it was very good. We were a group of 15 adults.

Everything was great! The mountain location can be a bit difficult to reach.

This is an excellent accommodation without any flaws. The pool is large and well maintained, the sauna and hot tub provide relaxation. The house is perfectly equipped. We have never had such a good and beautiful accommodation. The location is great, you can make countless trips. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. He is very helpful and exceptionally accommodating. The house is really recommended!

We were very kindly received by owner Carlos at a gas station and guided to the villa, the last part on a narrow, steep concrete road. However, easily accessible with a station wagon in our case. When we arrived at the villa we were pleasantly surprised, what a beautiful location and so much space! Carlos took all the time to show us around the villa. He also gave all kinds of tips on where to go shopping, restaurants and excursions. We have never been received so hospitably anywhere! We also had regular contact during the week. You felt like he was always nearby without it being a nuisance. The photos accurately reflect reality.

We changed house because on the day we arrived we had a big storm, because we had no electricity, water or heating. Our owner moved us to another house that just became available, so I can't give an opinion about this house, because we only stayed there one night.

It has been a wonderful experience, I recommend it for families and groups of friends, unbeatable infrastructure and treatment.

A very good experience, from the treatment of the owner from the moment of arrival, a comfortable house that lacks very few necessary details, cleanliness, tranquility of the environment and proximity to necessary shops and stores.

We love this location having stayed here a number of times, this Villa is incredible, only takes several minutes to get to from a main road, the views are incredible, the Villa is outstanding, clean, spacious and has everything we need-we loved it that much we extended our stay for a couple of days and have already booked to go back next year! Our hosts Nieves and Ernesto are amazing, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we felt so at home and had a wonderful and relaxing stay visiting areas we know and relaxing back at the lovely Villa-we have holiday blues coming back! highly recommend and thank you again to our wonderful hosts-see you again next year! The owners of the house were very friendly, the house was very clean, no detail was missing, the owner also left us wood for the fireplace, they were attentive at all times and helped us with everything we needed, the exterior has been very well cared for and equipped with games for both children and adults, we had the town close to us just a few kilometers away but the house is in a secluded environment where there was a lot of peace and tranquility, so it seems to the owners. to do things with love and care where you feel at home, the truth is that we had a great weekend, we would repeat without a doubt.

We spent fantastic days here. The surroundings are beautiful and the house has all the comforts you can imagine. There is an incredible tranquility and you have truly spectacular views. We were very comfortable and we will surely repeat. We recommend this site to everyone.

The house is great, very comfortable and cozy, equipped with everything that is needed. Our host surprised us with some welcoming fruits and water/cava, we appreciated this! The swimming pool and sunbathing area were excellent, and the big screen TV was very helpful during the rainy days! The internet connection was fast and reliable too. The drive to the house can be challenging if you haven't driven on dirt roads before, but in general it looks worse than it really is. We would definitely want to return in the near future!

The house is small but nice, nicely furnished and in immaculate condition. The outdoor area is spacious and the pool is very well maintained. Paco, the owner, takes great care of the house, the garden and of course his guests. He is always available, he likes to treat his guests with fruit, vegetables or eggs from his own garden and yet he never seems intrusive. We were in Torrox at the end of October and the heated pool (28°) and the sun made our summer a little longer. The proximity of the motorway entrance makes it easy to get around the area. You couldn't hear anything from the motorway, just that the next country road was sometimes a bit noisy. We really enjoyed our stay with Paco and Ana.

We absolutely loved the villa. It was full of character and in beautiful surroundings with a lovely garden. It was peaceful and quiet and yet you could walk into old town Frigiliana within 10 minutes. Jose the only was very helpful and friendly and we managed to communicate despite the fact we know little Spanish.

We had a nice stay. You may want to inform your guests in advance of the route to the house. Not everyone walks this route without fear. It was ok for us.

Very clean, safe and very quiet accommodation. Very well located just 30 minutes from Malaga and Marbella.

Everything was well arranged. Manuel was hospitable and responded to questions quickly and clearly. Everything is luxurious, complete and new.

We arrived late in the evening, in the dark and in the rain. The journey took us on narrow and steep roads as the GPS chose a less suitable route. We found our accommodation high up on a hill. The outdoor lighting was on and we could guess what the place looked like in daylight. Once inside the house, everything looked exactly like the photos, homely, clean and cosy! After a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds, we got up, opened the front door and were greeted by a fantastic view of the mango groves and the mountains. The garden with its pool, all the flowers, the plants and the various seating areas was wonderful. If the weather had been better, we could have really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately, we managed to punctuate the holiday with torrential downpours and storm surges, something none of us could have predicted. Our helpful and friendly host Jesús visited us several times to see that everything was ok with us, so nice! We can really recommend this charming and nice accommodation! PS We miss being able to go out in the garden and pick sun-ripened mangoes :)

We have been coming to this area for 26 years, but we have never had such a great, sparkling clean house! The garden is beautifully laid out, with lots of places to sit, chill out and sunbathe. The outdoor kitchen is super practical and the pool is huge and deep. The house is chic and super clean. Every part of the kitchen is ready to use. We have never experienced anything like it. Great! Unfortunately we were there at the time of heavy rain, chairs were flying around, the property was completely under water. But the very next day a couple came, completely unnoticed, and tidied everything up in the garden and got the pool ready again. What service! We were absolutely thrilled! Thank you for this unforgettable vacation! PS: A car is a must. There are no taxis there and nothing is within walking distance.

Comfortable bed, good seating in the living room and on the covered terrace. What we enjoyed most was the privacy. Upon arrival there was a basket with fruit, crackers and a bottle of bubbles. And in the fridge 2 bottles of water. Excellent contact via whatsapp with the ladies of Ruralidays.

Great house. Stunning location. Pool is not heated and can be cold at end of the year.

It is far away from everything and you get there via winding roads. Photos do not show reality. A serious drawback is that there is no window in the living room and that it is very small, estimated 10 m². The installations are not up to date (Oct 2024). No Smart TV, so no channels in your language, no streaming, etc. The hot water taps are a risk of scalding. The pool is leaking, 2 cm less water every day (Oct 2024). The service company was very helpful but cannot possibly resolve these comments directly. We were there for 12 days.

It is a lovely house/garden/pool. Private parking behind gate. Clean and if the weather is bad, a great place to stay inside or outside. The owner responds very quickly and is helpful and friendly.

Another great stay, and this time we took friends and their children who have actually booked to go back themselves next year. Moises & Cristina are simply wonderful people and work really well and hard to make your stay as relaxing and stress less as possible. Cristina even picked up a birthday cake for us for our friends 40th, above and beyond. The location is quite enough to have peace and have everything you need but also close enough to Torre Del Mar and even Malaga if you ever wanted more from your stay. The Villa is equipped with everything you need and more to make it feel like home. We will be back 😍

The house is very well maintained and clean. The facilities are very good. Everything you need is there. The outdoor area of the holiday home is also clean and well maintained. The view from the terraces is breathtaking. You can especially enjoy the sunrises here. The small, separate apartment under the house is also very nice. Also with a small terrace. The access to the house is via a narrow and bumpy mountain road. But for experienced drivers it is easy to do. But a large car might be better. We had a Ford bus with an automatic and had no problems driving it. Carlos is the owner and hands you the keys to the house. He is very friendly and gives you good tips for your holiday. If you need or want to know something, you can always ask Carlos. We did not need Carlos because our holiday in the house went without any problems. We spent a perfect holiday here in the holiday home with 4 adults and 2 children. The area has many excursion possibilities.

Fantastic place. Nice and private but still close to the sea and shops, if you have a car. Everything was neat and well maintained. The outdoor kitchen was lovely, it was more like an outdoor living room. And the pool was lovely with a beautiful view

The owners were very attentive and communicative. We had an impromptu Spanish lesson, and were welcomed with great enthusiasm. There were four bedrooms, so plenty of space, and the living area was also spacious. The view of the sunrise was gorgeous, and when we were caught in the trail of storm Dana, which was a little unnerving, it was also spectacular. We were too busy to use the pool but it did look inviting. Though up in the hills, it was not too far from the main road and civilisation. The kitchen and facilities are a little dated, but all perfectly functional and well provided for. A few larder basics would have been appreciated (oil, vinegar, milk etc) The extra covers for the beds were perfect when the rain came. The owners are lovely and friendly and very happy to help in any way.

Thank you to our host for this warm welcome, everything was perfect: the smile, the kindness, the impeccable house, the comfortable bedding, pilou pilou sheets to keep you warm at the moment, towels that smell nice. Wood for the fireplace, and a generously stocked fridge. What a great welcome! AND THE VIEW is breathtaking over the entire valley. The pool is large and practical with its wide step to relax. A holiday villa as described on the site! Had a great 17 days! Everything was right. Enjoyed the privacy and peace. Swimming pool clean, well maintained and lovely. Between the fruit trees, plenty of vitamins. Homeowners and Pilaar always friendly and helpful. House ok, equipped with all conveniences, lovely couch. Mattresses were good. Bed was narrow / 130 wide. Just getting used to it 😂 ((was a luxury problem, at home we have 1.80) Large fridge and occasionally washing. Felt safe with locked gate. We will come back!

Nice accommodation with top service from Jose. The winding road to it, for an experienced driver no problem so don't let the road (as in some reviews) scare you, the house is worth it!

The house is 23 minutes from the highway. You should not be afraid of heights. It is located under hills, but for me they are mountains. I had to get over it, which I found very exciting. In the end I enjoyed the peace and the view. The house has everything you need and the contact with the owner is very good. The house has a beautiful swimming pool, only not heated, but I did not notice that. About 6 minutes drive away you will find an Eroski supermarket. The drive to Marbella is about 1.5 hours.
