We stayed in this beautiful rural house because we had many rainy days, and it was still a pleasant experience. It's a house perfectly insulated from the cold. We were caught by the snowy mountains and were able to enjoy the fireplace as well. From the living room armchairs (very comfortable) and the master bedroom, you can see the beautiful views of this house. The kitchen has direct access to the barbecue, which we appreciated due to the rain, another plus. The bed is extremely comfortable, the house very clean, and we also appreciated that it has enough tablecloths, tea towels, and household items. We loved that they included a heated towel rack, as we spent a week in heavy rain and cold, and it met all our needs. We definitely hope to return to enjoy the pool and the walks in the countryside, which was green and beautiful. Although we were able to walk around the surrounding area one morning, we were left wanting more. Silvia and her partner treated us very well and were attentive to us from the moment we arrived until our last day. I thought they were excellent hosts (they also gave us a very special bottle of sweet wine typical of Cómpeta).

A very well-equipped, clean, and comfortable house. Spacious, with most rooms having private bathrooms, and a wonderful outdoor setting. Highly recommended.

4 wonderful weeks of enjoying our holiday

Finca is lovely, owners are just amazing but sadly the weather let us down this time. Never have we known rain like it in March and on some days it just never stopped. We love to just explore the local area and sit by the pool in the sunshine but it wasn’t shining this time Happy to say we are back in a few weeks and have booked 3 more trips

Overall, it was good, but we had some problems getting into the house that were out of our control, as they left the keys inside, and we had to wait hours for another family member to bring another set of keys. We contacted the owner a few days before to see if we could change the dates, as she had issued a rain warning. She told us it wasn't possible and that "it had never rained there." On the day, the rain forecast turned out to be accurate: water got under the door of the house. We had to cram into one house, 4 couples with 5 small children, because it wasn't even possible to stay on the porch due to the weather conditions.

The accommodation is very well located. It is spacious and comfortable.

Fantastic, definitely worth repeating.

The reception, the space, the location, the owner immediately available for questions, everything clean, lovely jacuzzi, outdoor pool, swimming pool, pool table, table tennis table, various rooms, you want to come back here in the future!

Malaga is a beautiful area with stunning nature and lots of small authentic towns

A beautifully designed villa with spectacular views makes a complete experience in this region. It is relatively easy to reach by car, though it takes a 20 minutes drive to most facilities. Eric was very friendly throughout our stay taking care of any needs we had. If you are looking to stay during the winter, be aware that the angle of the house leads to the sun only appearing late morning, and then stunning sunsets in the evening.

We have had another wonderful 4-week holiday on the new estate of José and his family. The estate and the location are beautiful. The equipment meets all requirements and is very comfortable. You feel at home. We lacked nothing. The outdoor area is also very beautiful. The estate and the outdoor area are beautifully connected. We would love to come back again.

Great stay

Lovely house with beautiful garden and veranda. Beautiful location with fantastic views. Raul is very nice and the village is about a 20 minute walk to the center. Climbing back but also easy to do. Who knows, we might come back.

We had a house in the mountains with a great view, a large pool, and the entire complex was in new condition. We were completely satisfied. The friendly owners, José and Eva, did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful vacation.

We found it a nice house where we were very welcome with our dogs who also enjoyed themselves.

We spent 4 weeks here with our dog (there's a lot of cats around, that might be a problem for some). We were working most of the time, wifi was quite good and worked all the time. Note: There's no phone network coverage where the house is and around. The house was clean and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay here. Loli was very nice and helpful, she even arranged a fishing trip for us. Having a car is necessary to get around.

Very nice apartment in a quiet but very nice part of Frigiliana. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are comfortable. Super nice landlords.

We had a wonderful time (4 weeks!) in Casa La Noria. The house is beautifully situated and in a favourable location in relation to the coast and amenities such as large supermarkets (approx. 20 min drive). We found the area east of Malaga attractive, much less touristy than on the west side (hardly any high-rise buildings on the coast). We were probably lucky with the weather, little rain and lots of sun. Temperatures in February hardly exceed 20 degrees, but in the sun it is soon wonderful!

Lovely, quiet house. Everything is new and clean, inside and out. Everything is designed to help you relax and enjoy quality time with your family (ping-pong, darts, basketball, pétanque balls, and chess). The pool was cold in March, which is normal! But we still took advantage of the lounge chairs and table to eat outside when the weather permitted. Aside from the access path, which is a bit difficult, it was a good experience!

We had a great stay! Unfortunately the pool was too cold but that's what you get in February. Big plus is the 10 bedrooms. Privacy for everyone. The outside area is perfect. Even though it was Feb we could have some outside dinners while BBQing. The only thing that could be improved is the amount of things in the kitchen. It's ok but if we would have been with bigger group (10 or more) then it might not be ideal. However we bought some wine glasses so there are at least some nice ones ;) the dirt road is slightly challenging but if you rent an SUV and drive slowest you'll be fine. Only thing is that you shouldn't trust Google Maps ;)

Patricia and Pepe were very friendly and welcoming. It is a lovely house and the outside area is fantastic. It fully met our expectations. The view of the sea and mountains is unique. We especially enjoyed the peace and privacy. We tank Patricia and Pepe for a very lovely 4 week long holiday.

The location right on the golf course is ideal. The villa is stylishly furnished and has spacious rooms. The outdoor area is breathtakingly beautiful and almost invisible from the outside. The food in the golf restaurant is very good and the shopping facilities in Antequera are good.

Everything in the house is top class, everything is spotlessly clean, comfortable and secluded, where you can see the stars at night and breathe the fresh air. The friendliness and attention of the owners, who did everything to please us, are worth mentioning. We will repeat.

The house was really just as beautiful as we had already seen in the pictures. We were kindly welcomed by José, who also remained easily accessible if we had a question for him during our stay. In short: we had a very nice holiday in a beautiful comfortable house with a beautiful view of the sea.

The house is beautifully situated in the hills surrounding Torrox. The view is breathtaking and you can relax here wonderfully. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to cook. The journey home is an adventure. The road is unpaved, in better condition, very steep and just wide enough for one vehicle. However, there is also oncoming traffic. 😅 If you are good on your feet, you can reach the old town of Torrox in 20 minutes on foot. There you will find a small market, a bakery and small supermarkets. For larger purchases you have to drive to Torrox Costa. We really enjoyed it

A wonderful holiday home, about a 30-minute drive from Malaga. It has everything you need. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms are very comfortably furnished. Outside, there is a large terrace with magnificent views, a large swimming pool, and a wonderful barbecue area. The seating is covered so you can sit outside even when it rains. We felt very, very comfortable and can definitely recommend the house! Ideal for discovering Andalusia and relaxing. Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful stay.

Very cozy house. Centrally and quietly located. Walk down the road in the evening and marvel at the clear starry sky and the lights of Granada, among others. ❤️ Nany, our wonderful hostess, made sure we lacked nothing. Antequera es un sitio perfecto para conocer Andalucia, todo está a una hora de distancia, ciudades, playa y además Antequera es una ciudad fabulosa con mucha naturaleza a su alrededor.

Great accommodation with absolute privacy. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The only criticism was the noise from the highway.

Incredible accommodation for families with pets, thanks to the fairly large exterior, with trees and land and the tranquility of being all fenced, allowing them to be free without any worries. The house has everything necessary (sheets, kitchenware, towels...). The owner made it easy for us to arrive earlier and leave a little later than the stipulated time since he had no other reservations, which is appreciated. In addition, he left us oranges from his land for juice.

Perfect stay in Alcaucín. The house is large, comfortable and spotless, with everything you need to enjoy and relax. The setting is beautiful and the host is charming and very attentive. Without a doubt, a place to repeat. Thank you for the experience!

We had a great experience and the property is fabulous

This is a fantastic house! The interior is nice and light and quiet. It is very clean. The view is beautiful. And although it was still too cold to swim, the infinity pool is very nice. There are two terraces at the house, which is great because you are out of the wind when it is very windy and when there is too much sun you can find shade. And there is a pool table, very nice! We were very satisfied, had a wonderful stay. And Manuel is a very nice host!

The holiday home is beautifully situated halfway up a mountain. The AP7 runs nearby but you don't hear much of it

We spent 6 weeks (2 persons + dog) in January/February in Casa Holly and we are completely satisfied. Almost every day we could enjoy the sun on the terrace. The house is fully equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The fully equipped kitchen, the Smart TV with streaming services, the WiFi, the large dining table, the comfortable beds, the small pool to cool off in (too cold in January/February and therefore unused), the barbecue, we can't name everything. The highlight is the jacuzzi on the terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains and the mountain village of Comares. The pool and the jacuzzi are maintained twice a week by a friendly and discreet Spanish couple. If there were any problems or questions, the owner Cheryl was always available via WhatsApp. Only the access to the house via the mountain road (partly unpaved) took some getting used to for us. A 4x4 vehicle is useful, but not absolutely necessary. But a lowered vehicle will cause problems. Shopping in Casabermeja went well. There is also an excellent butcher's shop. Are you looking for peace and absolute relaxation in the mountains, far away from tourism, but don't want to give up luxury and don't mind travelling slowly on the mountain roads? Then you've come to the right place!

With four friends and our dog we spent a wonderful month in the beautiful house, with a lovely sunny terrace and beautiful view. The house is suitable for a longer stay and has a good fireplace. We got enough firewood. The beds are good and the bathrooms very nice. All appliances in the house are easy to operate. The location is perfect, the accessibility is good. There is a spacious, closed parking lot. Close to shops, beach, beautiful mountain villages. The owners are helpful and friendly. We got delicious eggs from their chickens. In short: we enjoyed it.

Great surroundings, very friendly and helpful owners, lovely beds, super water pressure in the shower, lovely pool, very well maintained bungalow. What more could you want? Due to the location on the mountain, we decided, partly on Francisco's advice, not to go up and down the mountain in the dark at night. That means having breakfast in the sun and getting in the car for lunch and excursions. Competa, Malaga and Torrox are highly recommended. And enjoy the peace and quiet on the mountain and nice walks.

Used to renting from Ruralidays, this house is the best we have rented! Everything is perfect! The exemplary cleanliness, ideally located on a hill of fruit trees and 10 minutes from the sea. The views are splendid. The spacious exteriors, very well equipped and the magnificent interior, very tasteful. Super equipped, nothing is missing. Even basic little things like salt, pepper, water, coffee, everything is there! The owners are super nice, very responsive to our small requests and very kind. A little advice if you rent a car, an SUV will be more comfortable for the access roads. But everything is safe and the landscape is worth the detour. A few days of tranquility with the family

We had a wonderful weekend at Juan's. The view from the house is breathtaking and spectacular. Furthermore, the house is fully equipped. The girls used the jacuzzi and enjoyed it very much. The owner of the house is very friendly, he was available for all questions and always willing to help. We highly recommend it!

The accommodation is conveniently located, the surroundings are not particularly beautiful, but you can take a pleasant walk there. The owner let us in a little earlier than agreed on the first day. The beds are very comfortable. The living room is quite large and has enough sofas and armchairs. The kitchen, on the other hand, is too small and only has a combination fridge, which is very small for 10 people. There was a pellet stove and the owner wanted to come by one morning to clean the accommodation. I think this affected our privacy. In the end she didn't come, because I have one myself and I know how to clean it, although she insisted. Each room has a split unit for air conditioning and heating, which is great. But if you go to take a shower and there are several on, plus the pellet stove and the bathrooms that are in use, the power goes out. And we didn't have access to the electricity panel. It happened to us twice during our 4-day stay. At 23:00 we had to bother the owner and apparently she was bothered by that. Finally, there was a tenant, an electrician, who had the key to Sevillana. This allowed him to access the electricity panel on the street side. You do not have enough contracted power for all the services you use. Also on the last day we had to leave at 11:00, but the owner was in the car at the parking lot at 10:30 and at the door at 10:45. Because it was raining, it happened and at 11:10 the cleaners already came by. it was raining and we had children with us, so we needed a little more time. We felt a lot of pressure and little understanding on their part.

We were several families with small children, the house is perfect for them, each room has its own bathroom, very spacious living room and kitchen, as well as the outside area, very easy access to the house, very friendly landlord, she made our whole stay easier.

It was a great weekend, highly recommended.

An enchanting place, on top of a mountain, in the middle of the mountains. The house is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The friendliness and everything was impeccable. Mercedes, the owner, is great and very attentive. Thank you for everything.

It was a few days with the family, but we were able to really enjoy nature because it wasn't in a very rural location. There are private fields around but no mountain ranges for hiking. You have to take the car for that.

It is not in Malaga, it is in the Serrania de Ronda, the house is in the area of Arriate, 4 km from Ronda, a beautiful city.

The property is very beautiful and José always tries to do everything possible to make the guests feel comfortable. Overall, the stay at the farm was wonderful. The view is beautiful and the outdoor kitchen makes it possible to spend the whole day outdoors. I would just like to mention two small things: the pool is very small. It is not possible to "really" swim here. And the game options (ping-pong, darts, etc.) are in dire need of an update. They are already quite old and the equipment is quite poor. However, a clear recommendation for this beautiful property with a great location :-)!

We were here for 6 weeks in January/February. We enjoyed it. It is a nice house, which is equipped with all comforts. We spent a lot of time on the lovely, sunny terrace with a view of the sea. The beach is within walking distance. By car you are in Torrox Costa within 10 minutes. There are a number of large supermarkets here and you can walk along the pleasant boulevard with many terraces.

The house is more spectacular than it appears in the photos, a unique and peaceful setting and not a single detail is missing in the house. Its owner is super friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful holiday here. This holiday home is modern and beautifully situated, you are in the middle of nature and enjoy a fantastic view. Ideal for people who are looking for relaxation, if you want to do something you must have a car. Not really any catering facilities nearby, Coin is 20 minutes away, a nice town with plenty of shops (Lidl) and restaurants. You have to drive 2 km from the main road via a bumpy road to the house, but we did not find this a problem and it was atmospheric. The weather in February was lovely with 20 degrees. From the house you can take beautiful walks through the hills with many orange trees. And by car we visited nice places such as Ronda, Malaga and Marbella. Friendly owners. All in all highly recommended.

Fantastic house with good facilities and a wonderful view. Nicely situated in a valley with several villages

The house is very nice. It's large and very well appointed with everything we. The garden and views are fantastic. It's very private, you follow a good dirt track from the main road, then go through electric gates which only lead to this house and one other further up the track. It feels very homely and is well maintained. We found a couple of things a bit difficult. As requested, we told the owner in advance what time we would be arriving and sent a Whattsapp message 1/2 hour before we got there to confirm, but we didn't receive a reply. I called when we reached the locked gates but nobody answered. Then I received a Whattsapp reply with the key code details for the gates and the house. If nobody is coming to meet you it would be a lot easier to be sent this information in advance. The house was extremely cold when we arrived so we had the heating on quite a bit the first night and next morning, which heated it up nicely. However, we got a Whattsapp message asking us to use the heating more carefully and to try using the open fire and air-conditioning instead, despite all heating costs being included. We did as requested; however, the air-conditioning was only in the bedrooms and the fire resulted in the living areas filling with smoke, so we had to abandon this. There were 2 electric heaters but only one worked. We got a text message the day before we left saying that as guests were arriving the same day as we were leaving, could we leave at 10am. The advertised time for leaving, and what is confirmed on the booking is 11am. So in general, although the house was nice, it was cold, and there were a few issues with communication that didn't make it feel a very friendly experience.

My partner and I have just spent six weeks at Villa Veronica during January and February. After reading all the previous reviews here, we had high expectations – and we were not disappointed. The location of the villa commands exceptional views down a pretty and verdant valley that is beautifully cultivated. To one side are the Sierras Tejeda mountains, which form a stunning backdrop to the charming pueblo blanco of Frigiliana - an easy ten minute drive away along a scenic road. To the south are the towns of Torrox Costa and Nerja. Nerja has excellent grocery shopping for all your needs – brand new Mercadona and Aldi supermarkets and of course there’s the old town and the Balcon de Europa. The views from the villa are so stunning that we spent many days just sitting in the sun and gazing out. It’s quiet and peaceful here, but remember that sounds travel easily in a location like this, so respect your neighbours, even though none of them is particularly close. The villa itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained. The hosts, Jesus and Veronica, have done everything to ensure that their guests can relax in comfort and have provided everything one could need. Communication with them is easy – Apple Translate is a wonderful tool! We ate at home every day and found the kitchen to be well equipped and easy to work in – and always those views in front of you. There really is nowhere better to enjoy drinks and dinner than here on your own beautiful terrace. During our time here, Jesus always made sure that we were okay and was quick to respond to any questions we had. He’s a delightful man and very low-key – just what you want in a host. Everyone mentions the track down to the house and I have to say that when we arrived, we were no less intimidated than anyone else. We dreaded our first venture out, but soon realized that our worries were needless. It’s really a very easy track, especially in a mid-size automatic SUV. The track is so little used that in the six weeks we were here we encountered another vehicle on only one occasion and even that did not present a problem. We don’t usually recommend anything these days, because too often a recommendation can come back to bite you, but if you, like us, are looking for relaxation, views and an easy vacation, you’ll be very comfortable at Villa Veronica.

The location of the holiday home ensures that you can quickly reach the necessary infrastructure, shopping facilities and the beach. Everything is possible within a maximum of 10 minutes by car. The house is equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The garden of the landlord is also at your disposal, as well as the eggs from the 8 chickens. The heated swimming pool makes your stay in the winter a special experience.

Self-catering is our preference, and we were very impressed with Casa ------. The accommodation was well-presented, exceptionally clean, well-equipped and located in a secluded position with panoramic views. The owner Isabel was extremely helpful and attentive, ensuring that we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely visit again

An amazing, beautiful house, great views and a lovely garden, even if the weather was a bit cold to use the pool, so comfortable, the house had everything you could need, and so posh! We all enjoyed the pool table and were able to cook some lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen. Location was also perfect, close to main roads to all the popular destinations, granada, malaga, cordoba, ronda all within around an hours drive and Antequera itself was a hidden gem

The house is very new, incredibly beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. The garden is very large with a beautiful view, you can sit there and enjoy the sun. With a rental car you are in the city of Malaga within half an hour, so that is also a real plus. In short; we would love to come back again!

The house is located between mountains, it is a small village, there is a restaurant where they were very kind, the food is very good. About 10/15 minutes from Frigiliana (we loved the town, clean and very pretty) and 30 minutes from Nerja (we could not see everything, but we visited the coast and it was great), by car. It is a very natural, quiet and beautiful area if you want to disconnect, great! You have small paths that are routes, you can also see from above on the mountain a few steps away, Nerja and the sea. We disconnected a lot and we were able to enjoy with our dog :D. The house with a fireplace for the nights (looking for firewood was a fun activity) and its roof terrace is the best in the sun, with its barbecue. We liked it a lot. Its owner was kind and attentive, thank you!

A wonderful place to unwind. We loved the location, the house, and the super friendly owner. We live very close by and will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful week. The house was clean, big, and with a beautiful view. Luis and Estefania were very friendly, and we got delicious vegetables from the vegetable garden. The road to it is about 5 minutes quite offroad.

We had a lovely stay at Cristobal's house. We went in February but having the heated pool meant we could be outside and in the pool the whole week. We had 20 Degree weather which felt like more as the house in in a beautiful valley and retains heat! We paid extra to have the pool heated early so it would be warm when we got there. Cristobal thought of everything with this beautiful home - he even had speakers all set up at the pool area. We cooked, had a BBQ and drove the 5 minutes into down for dinner a few nights. A wonderful trip!

It was an unbeatable experience, the environment and the house are 10/10.

The house was spectacular, with all the necessary kitchen and bed utensils. The views were incredible with the countryside in the background. And all the rooms were very clean.

What a stunning villa, immaculately clean and well appointed. Stunning views of the valley and the infinity pool. Finding the property at night was difficult and although a map supplied there are 30 steps that lead up to the property which can be easily missed. Description of property is perfect apart from the steps that caused issues for 2 of the party who had limited mobility. There are no bars or restaurants within walking distance so ensure you have a car or research a taxi company. I cannot fault the property itself, well appointed and value for money.

The house was perfect. You definitely need a car though to get around and explore the area. The house was very cozy and met all expectations. The highlight of this property is its beautiful surroundings and views. Can’t wait to come back.
