Everything is superb in this house in Sayalonga. Although it is not easy to access, the owners were very attentive to help us at all times and there were no problems. The place is very quiet, and the house is well equipped. Totally recommended.

Beautiful villa in an exceptional setting in Torrox. Stay in January/February, the climate is mild. The breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea was a real pleasure all week. A stay with guaranteed peace and relaxation. The house is modern and perfectly equipped and offers all the necessary comfort.

A great place to completely let loose.

We really enjoyed our four weeks in this holiday home. It is perfectly equipped with high-quality equipment and is very suitable for long-term stays. The photos speak for themselves and the view is truly phenomenal, with sun from early morning until sunset. The only drawback is the steep and narrow access, which is in poor condition. This is probably due to the exposed location and nowhere else in the mountainous area along the coast is it better. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back!

There is no better way to relax in nature with your family.

Lovely quiet cottage for a peaceful holiday. Well furnished inside and out. Located a short distance up a rough track, and nothing walkable nearby, so you have to like that. We do!

Not a holiday but more of a workation. Visited many things in the weekends: beaches, nature parks, Malaga, Caminito del Rey etc.

Maria the hostess was so kind and helpful. She even left treats for the kids. The house itself is just so beautiful. The gardens and outside sitting areas are magical. The best part is that even though the house is so peaceful and surroundrd by nature, it is only a few minutes drive to nearby towns and Ronda so you don't feel stranded. Don't hesitate for a moment this is the perfect choice for a family.

Incredible treatment and a spectacular house with the most comfortable beds in the world.

We stayed at the villa for 7 weeks during Christmas and New Year and it was incredibly beautiful. Jose is a very nice and excellent owner, he always tries to please everyone and is always available via Whatsapp. The villa is more than fully equipped and the outdoor kitchen with grill and gas stove on the terrace is a dream. The WiFi and TV work perfectly. The farm is easy to reach. You get used to it quickly and every time you reach the top you are rewarded with a unique view. We have seen beautiful sunrises and sunsets and have already booked for next year! I think that says it all!

The house is perfect because of its location, cleanliness and facilities. The owner of the house, Lola, is a lovely woman who always takes care of everything. We had some perfect days, rested and followed some hiking trails

Like many other of the reviews, we would agree that this is an amazing property; unique, spacious and truly rustic. The pictures are very accurate as are the property details. We stayed for four weeks in January and so couldn't really fully appreciate the outside space and facilities of the home. The jacuzzi on January nights was amazing beneath clear Andalucian skies. It was lovely to share the property with the chickens, peacock, kitten and visiting cats! The property has everything you need, and is only a 15/20 minute walk into Loja. The homes' greatest asset is it's host - Jose is truly amazing! Kind, thoughtful and with a passionate desire to make our holiday perfect. Being an old rustic property, things do go wrong and Jose was always very responsive and genuine in getting anything that wasn't right to be resolved. The home is in a quiet location with some lovely views and sun-traps. We'd have no hesitation returning here (perhaps at a warmer time of year), and in recommending it to anyone travelling as a couple, in a group or with children

Modern and functional house, very large with large living spaces, very large and modern kitchen, modern living room with large very comfortable sofas, all rooms with bathroom and very large, the outdoor area is very nice and with many possibilities to be in different places depending on the weather, the spectacular super comfortable pool with its island, and the impressive games for children, golf, football, ping-pong, I could say things about the house all day, but to summarize a great house, one of the best I have stayed in, Ruralidays is a very good agency, everything worked perfectly and they look after you at all times to make you feel at home, I already have my reservation for next year, thank you for everything, it is already my second home in Andalusia

We have been the whole month of January at this fantastic place. Peace, privacy and that view never gets boring! Lovely swimming and almost always sun it was wonderful.

The accomodation has loads of character and is in a spectacular location with amazing views. We stayed in the accommodation in January and although the days were warm it did get quite cold at night however a good supply of fuel was provided to keep the log stove and other heaters going. The host (Jose) was very helpful and recommended many places to visit and an amazing restaurant in the nearby village of Algarinejo. One of the highpoints of our stay was relaxing in the accommodations hot Jacuzzi and watching the stars after returning from a day visiting one of the many beautiful towns in Andalusia.

A lovely place to relax, enjoy the nice weather and especially the magnificent view! The way up is a bit exciting at first but you get used to it quickly and it is not too bad in the end.

The surroundings are beautiful; it is nice to be outside in the sun, but when the sun was hiding behind the clouds it was quite cold.

The environment of the house is beautiful and, inside, no detail is missing. It is tastefully decorated, very clean and ready for your stay. The owner very kindly explained everything to us upon our arrival and gave us all the facilities to contact her in case we had any questions. We do not hesitate to recommend it.

The open environment and the view from the terrace made this region very beautiful if you love nature. The covered and closed jacuzzi made that we could relax outside even at colder moments. The communication with the owner was smooth and fast.

Beautiful place and a nice house to stay. Place is a bit remote but that is great for peace and quiet with a beautiful view. In the winter it was only quite cold inside. Owner is a fantastic nice man.

Holiday home is fine, I was very satisfied with it. Only the route to the villa I personally found life-threatening and almost caused a heart attack. No guardrail. Because of the dangerous route I always made sure that I was home before thunder broke.

Good location, spacious, the house lacks nothing and if you need anything they are happy to help you, an ideal place to relax.

First time visiting the finca in January. Weather was cooler in the mornings and some fog but most afternoons we had sun ☀️ which was very welcome. Swam everyday in 3 degree pool which was very refreshing but not for everyone I’m sure 😊 Already looking forward to our visit again in 6 weeks Thank you for another wonderful stay

This house impresses with its location. The view of Torrox and the sea is impressive. The house is from year 23, so new and everything is perfect (beds etc.). It is mandatory to have a car. The host Mario and his wife are very warm and friendly, always helpful. Unfortunately there is a negative aftertaste that I do not want to hide: under the farm there is a yard where dogs are obviously bred. They bark incessantly all day long. That really bothered us. Once it is turned off, everything is great. We will definitely come back.

Our stay from Christmas to Epiphany in Frigiliana (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 pre-schooler) was really pleasant. The location and the apartment are perfect for someone who appreciates their own space with a short distance to necessary services (groceries, pubs, restaurants etc.) The house was rural but nicely renovated and there was a plenty of room for all of us. The yard outside is spacious and well kept, pool was filled even in December though it's temperature was quite refreshing. The owner is great and we got our minor problems easily sorted out thanks to being able to communicate in spanish. If you come by car be prepared for some narrow and steep roads when approaching the apartment.

The farm is situated high on the mountain with a beautiful view of the sea and on the sunny terrace the winter is transformed into sunny early summer. Well-maintained swimming pool, friendly and discreet treatments with fresh fruit and punctual mail. To come back.

Our stay at Casa Rural Los Aleses was amazing!! Manuel and Bienvenida, the hosts, were charming and extremely helpful. The house was practically brand new and everything was spotless. The location was so beautiful and the views were spectacular. The house was in a working farm so there was plenty of fruit trees around us. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future!!

Lovely place, nice view, good showers, nice pool and especially nice that you can find a place around to sit in the sun/shade theneel shelter or wind. Complete outdoor and indoor kitchen. Wood was arranged with 1 app. Super nice service.

Maria is the most lovely person. She makes sure you have everything you need and is incredibly warm. The accommodation is conveniently located and you can reach Gibraltar, Seville, Cordoba and Grenada within 2 hours. Due to its location near the truly beautiful town of Ronda, it is also possible to get there by train. Ronda is a truly beautiful place and everything you need is about 10 minutes away by car. There are also numerous hiking trails in the area and Setenil, Arriate and other beautiful villages are within easy reach. The accommodation is fully equipped and if anything is missing, Maria is always there. We stayed with four people in this accommodation and we had a great time. It was winter, but the sun was shining brightly and warm enough. There were heaters and a fireplace, so you didn't have to be too cold. The outdoor area is spacious and we enjoyed cooking and eating in the outdoor kitchen. You can't go wrong here. It was a pleasure and we will definitely come back.

We spent 3 wonderful nights in Délia's house. The bedding is great, the view breathtaking. We never get tired of the breathtaking sunsets. We recommend with closed eyes

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool that we made full use of. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. A big plus was that we could even check in late in the evening, which was very convenient for us. We have been there during the long weekend of New Year's Eve and the truth is that the house is great It has all kinds of amenities. The town (Competa) is only 5 minutes away by car. The road that leads to the village is curved, without lights and without a verge, so walking is not possible. As an improvement they should fence the property lines. We had a dog and we were afraid that he would run away, especially because the road was so close. Attention and the house of 10. We will repeat

We were very comfortable at Charo's. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. It is very well connected, the surroundings are beautiful and it is a good point if you want to travel between Cordoba and Seville.

Sebastian and his wifes villa was beautiful it is very pretty and made us feel very welcome and comfey we never found one fault about it the lay out is perfect the voews outside over the moutains are breath taking even driving up the windy track to get to the villa was good we have even booked to come back this for new year and also when needed to comunicate with sebastian it was very easy and they was so very helpful we cannot wait to get back thank you so much to you and your lovely wife

Our stay in this house was simply amazing! From the first minute we felt welcome. The owners welcomed us warmly and were always helpful, both with advice about the area and with spontaneous questions. The house was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful design, which made the stay very pleasant. A big shout out to the owners! Their kindness and support was exceptional and made our holiday unforgettable. It is very quiet and beautifully situated on a mountain with a beautiful view. Sun from sunrise to sunset with also a place to sit in the shade. The kitchen is very well equipped, it really lacks something. The road to the house is a tough challenge via a narrow very steep mountain road that needs some maintenance here and there. Within half an hour's drive you are already in Coin where you can do all your shopping. Other very interesting cities and the coast can also be reached within 30 minutes. In short, a great place with a great nice helpful hostess.

Staying in this mountain house was a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking – surrounded by stunning landscapes and serene natural beauty. It's the kind of place where you can completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet here are unmatched, making it a perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility. That said, there are a few points worth noting. While the isolation is part of the charm, it also means there are no nearby restaurants or shops. Be prepared to stock up on everything you need before arriving. Another aspect that could use improvement is the bed. The mattress felt old or perhaps just overly worn – it lacked support and was quite uncomfortable to sleep on. A new mattress would definitely enhance the overall experience. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning the heating situation. During the colder months, the house can be quite chilly, and the heating provided doesn’t fully compensate for the low temperatures.

Very spacious and pleasant holiday home in an attractive location between Nerja and Frigiliana. Very nice outdoor area and fully equipped, with some weaknesses in the kitchen. Local amenities very good, the access and property entrance a little challenging, but ultimately no problem. All in all, highly recommended.

Perfect for a climbing holiday, good for walking directly from the estate, although walking in this part of Spain is not that "widespread". , the culinary offer in the area is rather poor, the restaurant Rocabella directly on site disappointed us quite a bit, it is necessary to stock up / better stock up in Álora (Mercadona), take warm slippers in winter!

As other reviewers have commented, Sebastian is a lovely host and the accommodation is extremely charming. We arrived at 11 pm in December and he had lit a huge fire and there was a pizza ready to go in the oven. He grows the best oranges! As well as being delightful, the location is great for hiking. You can drive to Refuge de Juanar (La Concha and Cruz de Juanar), Cerro Prietta, Tolox and Junquera in less than 30 minutes and Mijas (the mountain that fills the view from the poolside) in 35. We stayed 9 days and did 9 great walks! We recommend Komoot for finding hikes in this area.

We have relaxed and enjoyed ourselves here for 3 weeks. A few days with just the two of us, a few days with our daughter and son-in-law and a few days with friends who came by with their camper. If there was a small thing or a request, the host Sue responded very quickly and adequately. Nothing was too much for her. The way up is difficult, especially in the dark, but doable. And the house and terrace are worth it! The kitchen is very extensive with everything you need for a simple or an extensive meal. Great BBQ outside, many different seats, lovely (cold in December!) swimming pool ;-) The surroundings are very beautiful to see, there are many possibilities for trips or walks. We had a great time and enjoyed the cosy, typical Spanish house. Very atmospheric and in the evening we enjoyed a glass of wine by the fireplace! Recommended

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Raul. The location is close to Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa del Sol, and is about a 15-minute lovely walk along a concrete path. The house is cozy, clean, and offers everything you need. The view of the sea and the city of Frigiliana is fantastic. The area surrounding the house is green and beautiful, with plenty of avocado, orange, papaya, and lemon trees. There is as much privacy as you need, and no one comes by unless necessary. The place is very quiet during the day and at night. The beds were very comfortable, with excellent mattresses. We enjoyed the BBQ as well. The kitchen is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a dishwasher, and other amenities. The living room has a cozy fireplace. There is air conditioning in both the living room and the main bedroom, but not in the extra room with two single beds. However, it doesn't get too cold, so sleeping there is very comfortable even without A/C. Driving to and from the house is not too difficult, but you need to be experienced with driving and comfortable with hills. The last part of the road is too narrow for two cars, so you need to be cautious. For us, the drive was no problem at all. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely come back for sure!
