Holiday home for 8 people in Álora, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia.
Surrounded by olive groves, orange, lemon and almond trees, this rural house is located in El Chorro. It is located exactly on the top of a hill to the north of the Guadalhorce Valley. Which offers spectacular views of it and the mountains that surround it, this location also ensures total privacy and tranquility, and as background music, only the sounds of nature.
It is the combination of two houses, each with capacity for 4 people, the one on the upper floor will open if the group is 6 to 8 people.
The house on the ground floor has a bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds, a living room with a fireplace, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen. It has air conditioning (hot/cold) in the living room that heats the floor. The upper floor has two bedrooms with double beds each and air conditioning (hot/cold), a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. The house has a satellite dish and they have the possibility of adding a cot, which must be requested in advance.
Outside you can enjoy the shade offered by the pergola on the terrace and the barbecue. The swimming pool is on the upper terrace, where you will also find the parking area within the property. On its large terrace there is space for children to ride a bicycle, a skateboard or play freely.
Its owners will offer you organic products from the station's garden and if you wish they will invite you to a workshop on making bread in a small artisan oven.
After the road, you can access it by a dirt road of about 300 metres. It is located 10 km from Álora.
Álora has a population of approximately 13,400 inhabitants, and is located at the northern edge of the Guadalorce Valley. It is the birthplace of La Malagueña, the flamenco style.
You should not miss the Arab Castle, its churches, monuments and enjoy the hospitality and kindness of its residents.
The town centre of Álora is about 12 km from the El Chorro reservoirs and 10 from the Bobastro Ruins. It is 45 km from Málaga Capital, 45 from the Costa del Sol and 40 from Málaga Airport. Álora belongs to the Málaga region of the Guadalhorce Valley. This fertile valley is watered by the Guadalhorce River and its tributaries. Its landscape describes a variety of crops of vegetables, fruits and citrus fruits, which is why it is also known as the Huerta de Málaga.
Right next to the village of El Chorro is the Desfiladero de Los Gaitanes, a special protection area for birds, where the famous Caminito del Rey, currently being restored, runs along.
