Description
Holiday house for 10 people in Alcaudete, in the province of Jaén, Andalusia.
The house is located at the foot of the Sierra Ahillos, very close to Alcaudete, which you can walk to and from without any problem (just 1.5 km).
It is distributed on two floors:
On the 1st floor. There is a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. It has a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room with fireplace. Bathroom with shower and also has a laundry room.
On the 2nd floor we find 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds each and the possibility of putting 2 extra beds.
Outside we have a very spacious outside porch with very good views, it consists of a fenced pool and solarium area, an outside bathroom with a shower and a pool with unobstructed views.
The house has a large terrace with unbeatable views from where you can see Alcaudete at the foot of the house and the entire Sierra Subbetica Cordobesa, the peak of La Tiñosa and representative towns such as Luque, Zamoranos, Priego.
Alcaudete, of medieval origin, has an important heritage since the town was of great importance between the 16th and 18th centuries. In addition to the Calatravo Castle and the Church of Santa María la Mayor, other buildings stand out such as the Plaza de Santa María, the medieval walls, the Church of San Pedro, the Church of La Encarnación or del Carmen, the Convent and Church of Santa Clara, the Misericordia hospital, etc. The town has various services and many restaurants and tapas bars where you can taste the excellent local cuisine where virgin olive oil is the protagonist.
In its municipal area there are many other places and routes of interest such as:
Natural reserves of Laguna Honda and La Laguna del Chinche. Of great ecological interest where we can see species such as the pink flamingo.
Green Oil Route. Its route runs along 55 km of the old Jaén-Campo Real railway line. It has a large number of tunnels, metal walkways and iron bridges of great architectural and landscape value.
Route of Castles and Battles. Where you can visit some of the numerous castles in the province, natural parks and beautiful towns among the olive trees of Jaen.
Route of the Caliphate. It belongs to the Andalusian Legacy Routes and combines a wide historical-monumental and landscape heritage.
Mozarabic path of the Camino de Santiago. The section from Alcaudete corresponds to two Roman roads, one coming from the province of Jaén and the other from Granada, which met at the Salobral Lagoon to end in Córdoba.
Its natural environment allows for other activities and sports such as hiking, bicycle routes, canyoning, paragliding, etc.
It is located half an hour from Jaén, less than an hour from Granada and Córdoba and less than two hours from Málaga and Seville.
Easy access for people with reduced mobility.
