Holiday home for 10 people in Salobreña, in the province of Granada, Andalusia.
This is a brand new, luxurious and spacious villa with avant-garde architecture. It has magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque white village of Salobreña, with its imposing 15th century Moorish castle that is illuminated at night. The villa also has a private heated pool on a large south-facing terrace, so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset.
The bright and spacious living room with integrated kitchen has fantastic views, thanks to the glass facade with sliding doors that give access to the terrace. There is a comfortable chill-out area and a table for dining both inside and outside. The outside area has a large awning, so you can choose whether you prefer to enjoy the beautiful views in the sun or in the shade. Next to the pool you will find sun loungers where you can relax in the sun, or take a dip.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern features, as well as a cooking island and stools. You can enjoy a glass of wine with the other guests while cooking. On the terrace there is a gas barbecue where you can prepare fresh fish of the day for your delicious meals. In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, a dryer and a freezer.
There are also two spacious bedrooms on this same floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, and is adapted for people using a wheelchair. The second bedroom has a double bed and a separate bathroom.
On the ground floor there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two bedrooms have two single beds each, and one bedroom has a king-size bed. The bathrooms are modern and equipped with a rain shower, one of them also has a bathtub.
There is air conditioning and a heat pump throughout the house, which can be individually regulated in each room. The villa has WIFI and a wide range of international television channels. There is a parking area with capacity for three cars.
It is located in the beautiful El Monte de los Almendros urbanization, on a hill. The urbanisation's recreational area is just a few minutes' walk away. Guests can make free use of the tennis court, paddle tennis court, large swimming pool, children's pool, football pitch and playground. In addition, there is a small restaurant open during the summer months.
The beach, restaurants and shops are a 10-minute drive away. The airports of Malaga, Granada or Almeria are within easy reach. There is plenty to see and do: the Sierra Nevada ski resort, where you can also go hiking, is less than 75 minutes away; so you can ski in the morning (December to April) and in the afternoon you can relax on the beach or by the pool. There is a golf course 10 minutes away, which is right on the beach. The picturesque villages in Las Alpujarras are close by; as well as the wonderful cities of Granada with its world-famous Alhambra, and Malaga with its historic centre, cathedral and Picasso Museum.
Salobreña enjoys a subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees. For those interested in excursions, architecture and history, this region offers the best of Andalusia. You will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the area. Small white villages high up in the mountains, tropical nature, echoes of flamenco and of course, the abundance and variety of Andalusian food.
