This is a spacious holiday home ideal for family enjoyment. It has a private pool and large terraces perfect for sunbathing and more shady and private areas to relax and unwind. It has a heated pool. The automatic pool cover is easy to use and is more efficient at keeping the water warm if the pool is heated. The south-facing villa is situated high up in the private residential development of "Monte de los Almendros" overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the wonderful surroundings of the Costa Tropical with its whitewashed village of Salobreña situated at the foot of the (illuminated) Moorish castle.
This cosy house has three floors and a total of four bedrooms, all suitable for double occupancy, a spacious living room with dining area, an open kitchen, three bathrooms and a toilet. The villa can accommodate eight people.
Three of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor, one of them is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom. Two bedrooms have a double bed (1.50m x 2m) and one bedroom has two single beds (0.9m x 2m). Two of the bedrooms have sea views. The fourth bedroom with two single beds (0.90m x 2m) is located on the ground floor and is part of a separate apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom and direct access to the pool area.
The entire middle floor houses a spacious and bright living room with a nice dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, from which there is direct access to a large terrace with dining area to enjoy a family meal outdoors and the stunning views. On both sides of the living and dining area there are small terraces with stairs leading to the pool. A barbecue is available in this area for unforgettable meals.
The private heated pool (8 x 4m) is surrounded by a terrace with several sun loungers and an outdoor sofa to relax and enjoy the sun and the panoramic view. The use of pool heating has an extra cost of €175 per week.
Right next to the main entrance of the house there is a secure, gated parking for two cars.
The villa has hot/cold air conditioning, satellite TV and WiFi.
The house is part of a quiet residential complex which also has a communal area with a swimming pool, tennis court, paddle tennis court, children's playground and football pitch, available to guests.
Shops, restaurants, the beach and a golf course in Motril right on the beach are about 10 minutes away by car. The airports of Malaga, Granada and Almeria are all easily accessible.
For nature lovers, a hiking route through the Sierra Nevada in Granada or a tour of the Río Verde in Otívar is recommended. Let yourself be enchanted by nature and the tropical landscape!

If you decide to spend a day outside the villa, there is plenty to see and do: the Sierra Nevada ski resort, where you can also enjoy excellent hiking trails, is less than 75 minutes away, so you can go skiing in the morning (December to April) and relax on the beach or by the pool in the afternoon. There is a golf course ten minutes away by car, right next to the beach. The Alpujarras with their picturesque mountain villages are close by, as are the beautiful cities of Granada with its famous Alhambra and Malaga with its historic centre, cathedral and Picasso Museum.
Salobreña benefits from a subtropical microclimate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees Celsius.
