Description
Holiday home for 16 people in Puebla de Don Fadrique, in the province of Granada, Andalusia.
Located in an environment dominated by the Mediterranean forest, which has recently been approved for classification as a Natural Park, and which is part of the Granada Geopark, declared a World Geopark by UNESCO in 2020.
It is isolated from any other home or transit area, which allows you to enjoy a unique experience of relaxation and contact with nature.
The accommodation has 5 double rooms, two of them suite with private bathroom. Several extra beds can be added, both single and double (sofa-bed), depending on the needs of the clients. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and a wood oven, as well as a barbecue. The house has two large living rooms - dining room, and a large capacity celebration room, all with large fireplaces. In addition, it has Arab baths (hammam) inside the house itself, with hot water (30-35ºC) decorated with Arab motifs.
It has several outdoor patios, large gardens with play areas for children, and an outdoor pool for the summer. All this located in a fenced area, which protects from the entry of animals, since the house is located within a 600-hectare estate with deer, fallow deer, wild boar, foxes, etc. A paradise to connect with nature.
Next to the house runs a stream, coming from the source of water "Fuente de los Agujeros" and its carbonated rocks, belonging to the Sierra de la Guillimona, which, downstream, gives rise to the Barbata River. It is the largest source of water in the province of Granada, and most of the flow is channeled to supply the Irrigation Community of the Region of Huéscar, and a small part forms the
stream that forms the boundary to the east of the farm, whose murmur fills the surroundings of the Saúco Mill with life.
The house is in ambush in this valley, surrounded by large century-old walnut trees, poplars, willows, elderberries, and oaks, which give it a fresh and pleasant atmosphere to face the high temperatures of summer. The fruits of the forest, such as blackberries, will delight guests in late summer, and its cloudless sky
light pollution, makes it ideal to enjoy the Perseids.
