Description
The house is located in the natural park of Sierra de Hornachuelos, on top of a hill from where we have stunning views to the Guadalquivir valley as if we looked from the sky views.
The architecture of the house is Ibizan style, with open spaces and a white highlights on the green of olive trees and oaks that surround it.
It is decorated with Arabic motifs that combine in harmony with the Ibizan style house and all in accordance with the Andalusian environment in which it is located.
It is not only in harmony with the environment but also respects using alternative energy for electricity and hot water.
The Sierra Hornachuelos Natural Park houses one of the areas of Mediterranean forest and unspoiled shores of Sierra Morena. Next to Sierra Norte (Seville) and Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche (Huelva), forms the Dehesas Biosphere Reserve of Sierra Morena.
It is highly recommended to visit the towns that make up the park: Hornachuelos, Posadas, Almodóvar del Rio and Villaviciosa de Córdoba. In them you can taste the mountain delicacies such as sausages or game meat, and keep as a souvenir many jars of honey or cabinetmakers work and taxidermists. Nor can we leave the park without visiting the village of San Calixto, located in the heart of the Sierra, and admire its architectural and exquisite work of the Discalced Carmelite community that sits there.
